When she isn’t working, you’ll find Lindsay at a baseball field or a hockey rink. She is a very active sports mom and enjoys spending time with her family. When not at a sporting event, she can be found decorating indoors or watching the sunset, looking up at the stars, and enjoying what nature has to offer.
KAREN

Karen was born and raised in Litchfield county. Karen joined the dental field over 4 years ago. She is certified in billing and coding. She truly enjoys working with patients, and doing her best to help everyone achieve their best smile!
When she is not working she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Animal rescue is very near and dear to her heart.
MARTHA

Martha has been in the dental field from the age of 15. She started as an on the job trained dental assistant then graduated from BOCES vocational school in Westbury, NY for dental assisting. Martha then went on to graduate from Tunxis Community College where she earned an Associate’s of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is also a graduate of Western CT State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology.
Martha is certified to give local anesthesia, certified in laser therapy and has also completed courses in Invisalign. She truly believes in giving back to the community, therefore she has volunteered at the annual Connecticut Mission of Mercy (CT MOM) free dental clinic since becoming a dental hygienist. She really enjoys being able to help each patient feel informed and comfortable throughout their visit.
When she is not treating patients Martha can be found playing volleyball, working on her fixer-upper or hiking with her husband and two dogs.
LYNORE

Lynore received her degree from Fones School of Dental Hygiene. She also has a B.S. in Athletic Training from Southern Connecticut State University. Lynore served 8 years in the Army National Guard as a Military Police Officer. When she isn’t educating patients about their oral health, she can be found shopping at Target or playing with her son and daughter.

Marlene graduated from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport in 2015, earning a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Marlene moved to the United States in 2009 and is fluent in Spanish. With a deep passion for dentistry and a commitment to patient care, Marlene is dedicated to providing compassionate dental care and enjoys helping patients achieve healthy smiles.
Beyond the dental office, Marlene enjoys quality time with loved ones, listening to podcasts, seasonal decorating, and retail therapy!

Emily has been a dental assistant since 2015 after graduating from Western Connecticut State University. She passed her Infection Control Exam in 2018. Emily enjoys working at Newtown Smiles Dentistry and looks forward to continuing her career here.

Kelly was born in Stamford, but has lived most of her life in Newtown. Kelly started her Dental Assistant career in 2017 and enjoys helping and caring for her patients. In her free time, Kelly likes hiking and going on walks with her dog Max.

Cindy has worked in the dental field since 2000, and worked in Periodontics for many years. Then she took some time off to go back to school and get her bachelor's in psychology/ human development and then came back to the dental field where she is most comfortable and passionate. When Cindy has free time, she loves being with my two children and cooking.

Gabby grew up in Litchfield County. Gabby started her Dental Assistant Career in 2019 and never looked back. She enjoys working with her patients and putting a smile on their faces. When Gabby is not working she loves to travel with her friends and go on hikes with her black lab, Mac.
Destiny

Destiny was born in the sunny state of Arizona. She moved to Connecticut when she was 3 years old. Destiny also attended Porter and Chester Institute for Dental Assisting. That is where she found her love for dentistry. When she has free time, Destiny enjoys watching Netflix and hanging out with friends and family exploring new places.

Sara was born and raised in Litchfield County and attended Oliver Wolcott Technical High School and graduated with a Hairdressing/Cosmetology license in 2018. She attended Porter and Chester Institute for Dental Assisting and graduated in 2020 with her Dental Assisting Certification. When she has free time, Sara loves spending time with her dog, Bear and hanging out on the boat during the summer with her friends.

I obtained my Bachelor Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of New Haven, then went on to get my Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration. I originally fell in love with dentistry when I was a dental assistant. I believe that prevention is key to a healthy lifestyle. I love working with patients of all ages to reach their optimal oral and systemic health. I enjoy providing dental health awareness to the community. I previously provided dental care in Arizona on the Navajo reservation. I also enjoy going to local schools to provide a fun and educational experience for the children. In my free time I can be found with my husband and two beautiful girls or KICKBOXING!
STEPHANIE

Dr. Sungeun Stephanie Koo completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Brown University in Neuroscience and subsequently received her DMD at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. With a keen interest in the management of periodontal disease and implant surgeries, Dr. Koo pursued additional years of advanced training in Periodontics at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, along with the Masters in Dental Science.
Dr. Koo’s advanced training in surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapy and dental implants qualifies her to care for a diverse range of dental needs from chronic periodontal disease to missing teeth. Her gentle approach to patient care and focus on patient’s individual needs put patients at ease throughout the journey in the dental chair.
Dr. Koo is a member of American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Northeast Society of Periodontists, and Connecticut Society of Periodontists.

Bey is a dedicated dental assistant with over 5 years of experience in providing comprehensive support to dentists. She started her career at a non-profit organization that provided oral hygiene education to her local community; therefore, she is very passionate about patient education and strives to make each patient feel comfortable and informed about their dental health. Outside of work, Bey enjoys working out and spending time with her family.

Jasmine enjoys going to car shows with friends whether that be near or far. Jasmine is a JDM car enthusiast who not only enjoys seeing other cars but likes to work on her own. Jasmine also attended New England Teaching Institute for Dental Assisting. When Jasmine has free time, you can find her enjoying the outdoors, cooking at home, designing logos/illustrations on her ipad or modifying her car.

Kallie finds great joy in her work in the dental field, especially seeing patients' happy smiles. Outside of work and studies, she loves to travel internationally and explore new countries. Currently, she is pursuing a Finance degree at Southern New Hampshire University. In her free time, Kallie enjoys spending quality moments outdoors with her son and their dog, Koda.
