The lasers are used to remove any inflamed tissue, as well as tartar and plaque build-up.
Hard tissue conditions that laser dentistry treats include tooth decay and root canals. The laser removes bacteria and infected tissue to sterilize the area and access the infected tooth. Dentists will also use the laser to remove cavities, which is easier for the dentist and more comfortable for the patient.
